We love a visit to The Allotment Deli, it is one of our go to shops for a special lunch or picnic!
The Allotment Deli sits right in the middle of Fore Street (the main shopping street in St Ives). It often has displays of fresh fruit and veg outside, and loaves of bread stacked up, looking crispy and tasty. I always think it is one of the best looking shops, their displays draw me in every time!
Inside, their deli counter is amazing. They do the best tasting pates (one of my favourite foods in all the world), including vegetarian ones. Their beetroot bhajis are the best, and my Mum and niece, who both can't eat gluten, love their gluten free pasties.
They are stocked full of local producers wares and you could spend a long time simply browsing their shelves looking at all the different things.
Their takeaway cream teas are perfect, just right for taking away to eat in peace, or to take home for your tea after your holiday.
