The St Ives Farmers Market is held every Monday at the The Island Centre In St Ives. It is not only a very friendly and sociable place to go, it also is the perfect opportunity to buy local, fresh and delicious produce.
Shop Local
The market really focuses on showcasing local producers (within a 30 mile radius). The main stalls are food and drink and the stalls do vary from week to week.
Why Shop Local?
It is good not only for the environment (reducing food miles) but also good for the local economy. It puts money straight back into Cornwall, rather than the big supermarkets and big businesses.
Produce On Offer At St Ives Farmers’ Market
Things on offer last week were locally grown vegetables and herbs, cakes, pastries, bread, olives, cheese, fresh fish, honey, vegetarian and vegan specialities. There were also stalls selling art, crafts and plants and flowers.
St Ives Farmers’ Market Cafe
There is a little cafe inside the market which does great tea and cakes and there are buskers to entertain you!
