Okay, I'm not talking Bluewater here, but in St Ives we have 3 really lovely little shopping arcades. It is really easy to walk right past them and not even seen them.
It is well worth popping in for a look as you might find some really great stuff in there!
The Drill Hall
The Drill Hall is located in Royal Square, near to the St Ives Library.
It is jam packed full of quirky and interesting shops.
One of my absolute favourite chocolate shops is here. It is called Cornwall's Chocolate Cove and their coffee flavoured chocolate is something I dream of!
Inside is also the famour Paraphernalia. If you are on the St Ives Facebook groups you will no doubt have seen posts from the lovely Kay Shepherd who runs the shop. Pop in and say hi and you might even get your photo on Facebook!
At the front of the Drill Hall is a lovely cafe called Cafe Art. They have a little outdoor seating veranda at the front which is nice to sit on and watch the hustle and bustle of Royal Square.
Cyril Noall Square
Cyril Noall Square is a tiny little arcade just off Fore Street.
Inside you will find the St Ives Glass Studio and Rocks n Stuff.
At the back is the very pink Courtyard Tea Room.
Court Arcade
This is on Wharf Road, just by the little cut through called Court Cocking.
Inside is only 2 shops, but they are worth visiting. The first is the amazing Rubydoobies. This is a sweet shop and gift shop. I buy lots of childrens presents from here - brilliant as well for party bag fillers.
The rest of the arcade is taken up by the Cornish Clothing company Hager Vor. Hager Vor means "rough sea" in Cornish (in case you were wondering about the unusual name).
