Farmers' Markets In Cornwall

Local Markets and Car Boots

Cornwall does local produce exceptionally well. We grow so much down here that is no surprise. We also have AMAZING small local businesses who bake, cook and preserve, creating a wealth of delicious food high in goodness and low in food miles and packaging.

Here is my list of our local Markets in and around St Ives Cornwall

St Ives Farmers’ Market

When: weekly on a Monday from 9:30am – 2pm
Where: The Island Centre in St Ives

St Ives Farmers’ Market is the farmers’ market closest to my heart. I love the place and visit it most weeks. It is brimming full of local producers and there is often something new and exciting to try.

I love the ethos behind St Ives Farmers’ Market. They say that any business that grows, bakes, rears, catches, smokes, brews or cures local food (within 30 miles of St Ives) is eligible to take part in the market. They favour free range and organic and the majority of the stalls sell food or drink. They really try to have a varied range of stalls and try to avoid having stalls selling similar things. This makes for a very interesting farmers’ market.

St Ives Farmers’ Market do have a good facebook page with details of lots about their regular stall holders. Click here to visit it >>
