34 Egg-citing Things To Do This Easter In West Cornwall - Easter 2019
Are you going to be down here in West Cornwall for the Easter school holidays? We are and we have lots of family visiting too. I've been trying to plan out what we are going to do with 7 children staying with us (eek!).
Lots of the big attractions are putting on special Easter events (some might say with FAR too much chocolate on offer). There are lots to choose from, so hopefully my little snapshot of things to do will help you decide what you will do.
Easter At Paradise Park
Dates: 6th to 22nd April 2019
Become a wildlife hero and take the Golden Egg Challenge this Easter at Paradise Park.

Easter At St Michael's Mount
Dates: 7th April to 22nd April 10:30 - 4pm (closed on Saturdays)
Follow the trail around the harbour and village. Learn about the people who have visited, and the people that have called the Mount home. As you seek the answers you will receive a reward.
Cost: There will be a small charge to do the trail.
Easter Fun At Helston Railway
Dates: 19th to 22nd April
Join the train for an eggciting Easter fun ride.

Easter At Land's End
Dates: 6th - 22nd April
Hop on down to Land's End for extraordinary entertainment and get hunting for some chocolate prizes in their Easter Egg Hunt!

Easter At Enys Gardens
Dates: 21st and 22nd April 2019 11am to 5pm
Peter Rabbit's Easter Egg Trail. £6 adults £2 child includes trail and egg.
Easter At The Eden Project
Dates: 6th to 25th April 2019
Eden has a farm-themed Easter event, including a giant scramble course and special chocolate treats. Help round up the Eden Farm animals, learn what makes crops gown. Play a-mooo-sing games and eggciting activities. Collect stamps to fill up your card and eggschange them for cracking prizes!

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts At The National Trust Properties
Dates: 6th to 22nd April 10:30am to 4pm.
Normal admission charges apply plus a small amount per child for the hunt.
Lots of the National Trust properties in Cornwall take part in the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. The gardens are full of clues to find and puzzles to solve. Discover how the garden grows and how it's looked after by both the gardeners and the creatures who call it home.
Easter At Flambards
Dates: April 6th to 22nd
Younger visitors can enjoy experiments, explosions and a chocolate egg trail as part of an action-packed Easter at Flambards. On the 21st April Ferdi will be leading the BIG Easter Egg Quiz Trail. Find the clues dotted around the park then hand in your quiz sheet for a chocolate egg.

Easter At Newquay Zoo
Dates: 8th to 22nd April
Explore Newquay Zoo and discover the amazing changes that have taken place over the past 5 decades. Complete the fun trail to claim your chocolate treat. £1.50 per trail sheet. There is also face painting in The Barn, watch the animals enjoy some special Easter treats and learn all about our animals at daily keeper talks.

National Maritime Museum

Shipwreck Survivors. Imagine you are stranded on a desert island - well no need to panic as extreme survival experts 'Footsteps Of Discover' will show you how to stay alive with a series of talks and demonstrations.

Easter Adventure Quest At Pendennis Castle
Dates 6th to 28th April 2019 11am to 5pm
Join the hunt for dragon eggs on a legendary quest this Easter holiday. Crack the clues as you and your family follow the trail around Pendennis Castle. Intrepid adventurers who track down the dragon egg will get a certificate to prove it, and there’ll be a chocolate treat too!
You can get questing at Pendennis every day of the school holidays. It costs just £1 per child, and there’s no need to book.

Easter At Dairyland Farm World

Easter at Dairyland is a magical time. Spring welcomes the arrivals of many new farm park residents and, to celebrate, we have plenty of egg-citing crafts and games happening! We run Easter egg hunts for chocolatey treats and plenty of egg-cellent activities in our special workshop.

Easter Fun At Lappa Valley
Dates: 19th April to 22nd April
Join them for the annual Lappa Valley Duck Race across the boating lake, and enjoy the Easter Trail around the fun park. There is a little prize available for every child taking part!

Easter At The Lost Gardens Of Heligan
Dates: 6th - 22nd April 10am to 4pm
Heligan are putting on a whole host of Easter activities. Explore the gardens of their "Grow Your Own" trail. When you've collected everything you need, head to the Easter marquee to plant your bean and begin a journey growing your own food. Join in Easter games and activities and see the baby lambs too!

The Royal Cornwall Museum is putting on a whole host of lovely Easter craft activities. They are free for under 16s but admission fees apply for adults.

Kidz R Us St Ives
The wonderful Kidz R Us theatre company in St Ives are putting on their production of CATS this Easter.
Boathouse Theatre St Ives
The ever so small and quirky Boathouse Theatre in St Ives is putting on Murder In The Pilchard Cellar!
Acorn Theatre Penzance
The brilliant Acorn Theatre in Penzance has lots of shows and events on this Easter.
The Minack Theatre
The stunning Minack Theatre has several productions on this April. We are especially looking forward to The Secret Garden! There is also morning storytelling sessions with John Brolly.
Rogue Theatre
The magical Rogue Theatre are back in Tehidy Woods this Easter with their new production of the Wild Spring Hare.
Newlyn Filmhouse
Newlyn Filmhouse puts on some amazing things! From the Bolshoi Ballet, to Opera to Monty Python!

The Tate St Ives is putting on a family create session every day this Easter. This holiday it is titled "Forest Of Figures" and you get to create a crazy creature or paper person and add it to their ever growing Forest of Figures

The Leach Pottery is putting on some lovely events this Easter. From clay days for the children to throwing pots for adults.

6th and 7th April on the harbour in Hayle by Asda. Free face painting and kids entertainment. Lots of lovely stalls.
St Ives Farmers' Market
Held every Thursday morning at The Guildhall in St Ives, this amazing market sells the best local produce and wares. Come and support our local makers and suppliers!
Other Farmers' Markers
There are loads of other local farmers' markets for you to shop at over the Easter holidays. From St Erth to St Buryan, Penzance to Pendeen.
